Annual Fall Family Weekend @ Broad Creek Scout Reservation – October 30th to 31st

  • Pack

Pack Families,
There is a great opportunity coming up in late October, the fall family weekend at Broad Creek Scout Reservation. This overnight camping trip is in addition to the camping trip that Pack 3807 is planning for 10/15-17. COVID precautions will be in place, and while they have not released the official details for this family weekend, we expect they will be similar to Scout summer camp (e.g. masks required in high-risk areas and events like dining hall food lines, campfire programs and indoors). I’ll forward those along once I have them.

While we will do things as a group on our Pack trip, the family weekend will have more activities that Scouts would do as individuals that we would not do as Pack 3807 (e.g. archery and BB’s). Activities for the weekend include:

  • Archery
  • Nature Hikes
  • BB’s
  • Campfire
  • Rockets
  • STEM
  • Slingshots
  • Fire Building
  • Songs and Skits
  • Pumpkin Decorating

A flyer for the event is attached. The cost is $40/youth and $25/adult.

We’ve put together a SignUpGenius to gauge interest so we know who is going, but each family would sign-up individually directly with the Baltimore Area Council.

This event will fill up, so I would strongly recommend you sign-up ASAP if you are interested. Don’t wait for the SignUpGenius.
